Appearance

These black-and-white lemurs have a very unique look.  With their pure white & pitch black bodies and their golden eyes, they are quite easy to recognize. Here are their main features so that later on, you can recognize them!

Eyes
The eyes of the Black-and-White Lemurs are golden, but glow reddish in the dark.  They are staring vivid and forward facing.  Some have stereoscopic vision, but no cones. 

Fur
The fur of the Black-and-White Lemurs is thick,

soft, long, and bushy(tail).

Color Patterns 
The color patterns of the Black-and-White Ruffed Lemurs varies.  It my be different on both sides of the body.  It's fur is either pure white of pitch black.  Research shows that the lemurs on the north, have more black, while the lemurs on the south, have more white.  The face and top head are mostly black, and usually, the hands, feet, and tail are black.

Ruffs The Black-and-White Ruffed Lemur have ruff of hair that covers the ears.  They also have white ruff framed face.  This is where they get their name: Black-and-White RUFFED Lemurs.  They also have fox like muzzles.
