They also enjoy many other types of food, including small amounts of flowers, buds, fungi, nectar, leaves, soil, rice, and seeds. They also like eating edible plants. In all, they are herbivores, specifically, frugivores, as mentioned before. They also enjoy the sugary nectar of the traveler's palm, which helps the traveler's palm exist till present day(see Role in Eco-System/Biodiversity tab). They consume this sugary nectar through their long snout and tongue.
As you can see, these lemurs very much enjoy the gifts of nature, which fill their daily menu. These lemurs enjoy fruits mainly, but also many other natural foods.
