Black-and-white ruffed lemurs are large for their species, but no bigger than a house cat.

Size
Black and white ruffed lemurs are the largest true lemurs. They are the size of a regular house cat. They are 4 feet long including about 2 feet of tail. The head and body length is 51-60 cm (20-23 in). Females are usually larger and more aggressive then males.

Weight
Black and white lemurs weigh around 3.2-4.5 kg (7-10 lbs)
